Got a long drive ahead of you? The R4 will help keep your kids occupied

Everyone knows how difficult it can be to keep your kids quiet and occupied, particularly on a long drive to take a family vacation at a hotel in Cardiff for instance.  You would think that kids would be excited and appreciative on their way to stay in a plush hotel room in the heart of Welsh country…but no, they are bouncing around the car begging to know how much longer they must endure the car trip.  Purchasing an R4 adaptor and (in the off chance that you don’t already own one) a dual screen hand held gaming system is one of the best ways to keep your children at bay and entertained whether you are strolling the aisles of the supermarket or waiting at the travel agents office to make hotel reservations for your Cardiff weekend getaway.  Video games are of course great for keeping kids entertained, but as we all know sometimes children can have problems sharing.  Unfortunately unless they each have their own hand held gaming system, fighting is sure to ensue.  With the purchase of an R4 adaptor, the capabilities of your DS system increase exponentially. 

This adaptor allows you to watch movies, look at photos, listen to music, browse the web, maintain a calendar and organiser and view text.  For a small price that is a heap of additional benefits.  If the kids are watching a movie, they can share the device and they will stop nagging you to know when they will arrive at the hotel in Cardiff.  The R4 has improved since it was initially released as well.  There used to be a problem with the spring loaded device for the micro SD card you need for the adaptor.  It tended to break down after prolonged use.  This minor issue has been overcome and the product is now incredibly durable, and even more reasonably priced than before.  There are many similar products available on the market so make sure to shop around and make certain that you are purchasing a quality R4 adaptor.  You wouldn’t just randomly select a hotel for your weekend in Cardiff without doing a little research first, and the same should go for any new product you buy (particularly electronics). 

Some manufacturers sell you the device with the software already installed and tested.  This is especially helpful as sometimes there can be issues installing the software yourself, particularly if you are not technologically savvy.  With the addition of this adaptor this hand held portable gaming system becomes a toy for adults too.  Although you may indulge in a video game or two here and there you are more likely to purchase one of these systems for yourself if you have the increased capabilities available with the R4.  Similarly, you would be more likely to reserve a hotel with a Jacuzzi, buffet breakfast and walking tour of Cardiff, than one with none of these additional perks.  With this adaptor, the DS becomes a small, lightweight, reasonably priced portable PC that adults can enjoy as well as kids.
